One life. Live it. Just live it.

God is shaking up the ground and awakening people. At least, God woke me up. A friend, or rather 2 friends, had gone home to be with the Lord. Only within a span of 3 months. What is God trying to say? Is he still sovereign in this? Can I continue to trust him?

During the first death, I was pretty affected by it. He was young, promising, talented and I'm sure he could be used greatly by God. Just 1 month before his departure, I met him and he was recovering well. I was thinking, God has his best plan. When you recover, you can run for the Lord. However, just when I thought he was doing well, God decided that time was up for him to go home. Why Lord? Why this time? Well, His ways are higher than my ways. I will never be able to answer those burning questions. I only know, he is now in a better place than I am, where there is no more pain and suffering, only lots of love from the Father himself. In fact, I should congratulate him that he has "promoted".

One important lesson I have learnt is to treasure your life. Life is really short and fragile. I always tell my girls, we need to have the urgency to share the good news because our family members and friends are dying. Spirtually of cos, but they can also die physically. By then, it would be gameover.

And not only our loved ones can die physically, we can also die! We are running against time! So all the more, we need to share this passion of Christ more fervently than ever! People are dying, can you see?

What is God trying to say? We know not when God will take our loved ones away. I know not when God will take me away. I only know I have One Life, with only 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days a year and it's short. So Live it to the fullest. Just live it the way God intended you to live. Just live it without regrets.

Is he still sovereign in this? Can I continue to trust him? My answer? Absolutely! Jer 29: 11. For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

And for my 2 friends, it's only a temporary separation. You have landed to your final destination. I look forward to seeing you in heaven.
